Deposits
Our travel experiences will require a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. 

What if I have to cancel?

While the deposit are non-refundable, we can happily apply the deposit and/or balance amount to a future booking..

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 91+ days prior to the first day of the booked trip will receive no cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made 90 – 61 days prior to the first day of the booked trip will receive a charge of 50% of the total price of the trip.
  • Cancellations made 60 – 31 days prior to the first day of the booked trip will receive a charge of 75% of the total price of the trip.
  • Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the first day of the booked trip will receive a cancellation charge of 100% of the total price of the trip.

Trips can be booked through our secure booking portal at travelraro.com. Please navigate to the upcoming trips tab to browse our selection of authentic adventures and follow the directions to book your trip.

raro prices are based on there being two guests per room. This can mean two guests traveling together paired as roommates, such as friends or couples. When occupancy is not double, a room becomes “single,” with a single room charge to make up for the difference in price.

Trips include everything from meals to accommodations. Guests are provided with daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and wine pairings. Trips also include all accommodations and lodging, transportation within the adventure, local hosts, scheduled activities and excursions and transportation to and from the airport.

We do not cover airfare and fees into and out of the country of your destination, extra alcohol purchases or incidental expenses.

While we try to make sure our guests have as many options as possible, unfortunately many of the places we go and local villages are not equipped for special assistance, such as wheelchairs or motorized scooters. The local transportation is not equipped with special assistance equipment.

This is your vacation! If you aren’t interested in a specific excursion or activity, you are free to explore on your own. Your host will provide you with recommendations for shopping, dining and activities in the city or village you would like to explore during free time.

Please check your trip’s itinerary for an overview on weather/climate for the region you will be visiting. We recommend comfortable shoes for every trip, as you will be engaging in walking and moving.

Each guest is responsible for booking their own flights to and from the trip. We will provide all other transportation services throughout the trip, ranging from private luxury sedan to small luxury mini bus to train to airplane.

We want this trip to be as relaxing and indulgent as possible, therefore only adults may book through raro. However, we welcome couples, families, friends and single travelers to every excursion.
